Lucca

Located in the north of Tuscany and capital of the same, Lucca is rich in ancient structures and surrounded by a sixteenth-century wall remained unchanged over the centuries.
Officially of Roman origin, Lucca is the city of merchants and weavers who maintained for several centuries its autonomy until, in 1799, the arrival of Napoleon conquered it giving rise to the Principality of Lucca and, later, the Bourbon Duchy of Lucca.

Diritti dell'interessato
